The race for the 2019 Order of Merit title is well and truly on and sufficient rounds have been recorded to establish a leaders table.
Inclusive of results recorded following the Gosford Open Amateur played on Saturday 21 September perennial James Swanson has taken the lead with 1900 points with Toukley junior, Keegan Phillips, in second spot with 1295 points. Veteran Dave Willett has shown that there is life in the old dog yet not far behind Keegan with 830 points.
There is still plenty of time for someone to mount a significant challenge to James with the NSW Country Championship, Everglades Cup and the District Singles Championship still to be played.
