The final of this event was played today after some 10 months of competition.
Contestants in this Championship qualify via the District Singles Championship which was held back in February at Kooindah Waters.
Normally it would be expected that the final would be held after 2 or 3 months of matches but this year the season was prolonged by wet weather, illness and the arrival of a baby.
Jason Hyde of Wyong played Cobie Campbell of Magenta Shores in the final and at the end of the day Jason came out on top.
Congratulations Jason and commiserations Cobie although no doubt that new addition to your family will ease some of the pain.
