The Coast playoff of the 2016 Keno Mixed Fourball Championship was played at Gosford on Sunday 26 June and given that under the conditions of play this year all finalists were required to play off their cap handicap (their best handicap for the last 12 months) some good scores were returned. One player had to play off a handicap 4 shots, others 3 less, than their current handicap and as a result adjustments to their final scores made some difference to final placings.
At the end of the day the Gosford pair of Helen Potter and Stu Williams proved too strong and won their place at Bonville with a score of +9. If by chance for any reason Helen & Stu are unable to make the trip to Bonville JoAnne Montague and Graham Everett from Mangrove Mt., as first reserves, will take their place having narrowly squeaked into 2nd place with a score of +6 on a countback from Melissa and Dean Bensley of Shelly Beach.
