The annual clash with the Lower North Coast DGA was played at Bulahdelah Golf Club over the weekend of 5/6 July in a slightly amended format owing to the unavailability of Juniors following a major Junior tournament in Wollongong the week preceding the event. The Junior component of the event will hopefully be played later in the year if a suitable date to both Associations can be found in our already crowded programmes.
Saturday 5/7 saw the teams meet in 6 4BBB Match Play matches and CCDGA took a handy lead into Sunday after claiming the spoils on Saturday 4/2. Of the six matches CCDGA won 3 outright and squared 2.
Sunday 6/7 involved all of the players in singles match play and the Colts gave CCDGA a handy lead winning their section 3/0. The Seniors had a narrow win 3.5/2.5whilst the Masters lost 2/1.
Overall CCDGA won 11.5 of the 18 matches and retained all four of the Shield for another 12 months. Full results can be found on the "Representatives" page.
