Opening Day was held today at Gosford Golf Club.
There was a full field of 144 players who arrived early and started play.
The unpredictable weather returned and delivered some heavy rain which halted play for half an hour. Play resumed and the wet weather hung around for a bit. Most players decided to continue play and came in for lunch and presentation.
The course was in pretty good condition given the recent heavy rain (and more from today).
Thank you to Gosford for hosting the day today and to the Ladies for providing the lovely morning tea which was very welcome during the 'wet' break as well.
This year's Charity is Lifeline and Andrew came along to speak about the organisation and its operation. The Raffle today was very well supported and proceeds were about $700. A big thank you to all those who supported the Charity.
Congratulations to all the Winners and thanks to CCWGA for their generosity with Balls today.
