At the CCDGA Presentation Night on 30 November, Steve Fallon, currently serving his 11th year as Junior Development Officer and his 6th year as District Captain, was surprised when he was informed that at the AGM on 19 September he had been awarded Life Membership of the Association for his lengthy and dedicated service to golf on the Central Coast. Steve wasn't at the meeting due to a prior commitment (he was way up north fishing) and it was the best kept secret for many years.
Steve is well known to many people on the Coast, not only in the golfing fraternity but across the wider population, and is respected by all who know him for his jovial, friendly and loyal demeanour and nothing is ever too much trouble for Steve to attend to.
The award is well deserved and there is little doubt that everyone involved with golf on the Coast would extend their congratulations to Steve for this milestone in his golfing administrative career. Congratulations Steve!!!!
