In June the Gosford pairing of Helen Potter and Stu Williams secured a spot in the final of the Keno Mixed Fourball to be played at Bonville in early September.
On Sunday 7 August the local playoff of the NSW Men's Fourball Championship was played at Morisset and another Gosford pair, David Mundy and Stephen Browne proved too good for their opponents and secured a spot in the State final also to be played at Bonville in early October.
In a close tussle for runner up and the first reserve pairing if by chance David & Stephen can't make it to Bonville, Wyong's Ben Unger and Ben Ward made it through over Des Wood and Kevin Hayes of Toukley on a hole by hole countback.
2016 has been Gosford's year in the rush to Bonville and hopefully a win in at least one of the finals will come to the Coast.
