Toukley's Robbie Hogan recently represented in a JNJG team that contested the NZ Junior Championships in Christchurch and was the best placed Aussie finishing in a tie for 35 place. Rob shot rounds of 79,77 & 76 for the 3 round tournament and was obviously becoming more comfortable with the course and conditions the further the event went.
Robbie has been a mainstay of the District Junior teams for a number of years and will shortly move into the Open age category and is sure to press for selection in the higher grade. Robbie currently holds the lead in both the Senior and Junior Vardon events and with only a few more rounds to play in both events could be hard to beat.
