The 2014 Challenge Cup was played at Gosford Golf Club on Sunday 9 November and the Shelly Beach team of Alice Diamond, Rosie Moore, Sonia Haggerty, Sam Lamont, Darrell Endycutt and Grant Barwick proved too strong for the other Clubs and took the Cup with an aggregate score of 203 points.
The individual prizes on the day were distributed across 7 of the 9 Clubs that participated and were;
Women's over the field Rosie Dyer (Gosford) on a countback from Alice Diamond (Shelly Beach) with 42 Points.
Women's grades - Alice Diamond (Shelly Beach) 42 points, Sharon Stevenson (Toukley) 36 points and Jackie Jolly (Morisset) 36 points.
Men's over the field Damien Chambers (Wyong) 39 points (par round)
Men's grades - Sam Lamont (Shelly Beach) 32 points, Daniel George (Magenta Shores) 34 points (c/b) and Briant Went (Everglades) 38 points.
