In what was a short, sharp competition Toukley proved too strong for their local opposition and have again secured the local chapter of the Eric Apperly Shield.
The competition was shortened this year due to the unforeseen late withdrawal of two teams but the teams that took part played their matches in the true spirit of the game and the boys can be rightly proud of the manner in which they represented their clubs.
Toukley now progresses to the next level of the competition and will play the Central Western District representatives in the State quarter final at Cabramatta on Sunday 24 August.
