Shelly Beach Golf Club member, Corey Jones, has been selected in a three person Australian Junior team to compete in the Greg Norman Academy Junior Invitational at North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina USA in December.
The event is jointly co-ordinated by Global Junior Golf and the Greg Norman Champions Academy.
Two boys and one girl from 26 different countries will compete in teams and singles event over 54 holes stroke play. Corey joins Jason Hong and Hannah Park to make up the Australian team.
The event will be played at the prestigious Barefoot resort and golf in South Carolina and will expose the junior golfers to college coaches and competition against the best junior golfers across the globe.
