The CCWGA annual tournament for Day 1 was held today at Magenta. There was a full field of players with many travelling from Newcastle, Hunter and Sydney Districts as well as local clubs.
The format was an Individual Event and a 2 Ball Aggregate Stableford. Division 1, 0-19 played Stroke. Division 2, 20-26 and Division 3, 27-45 played Stableford.
The usual hospitality from the Magenta staff and volunteers was greatly appreciated by the players. Thank you to Magenta for hosting the event and for looking after us all so well. Special mention to the Ladies Committee for the lovely morning tea and the army of volunteers who carried bags, looked for lost balls and raked the bunkers!
The course was challenging and many found it hard going in parts, while others seemed to find the putts dropping with no trouble.
Today's Raffle was again well supported by the Ladies and we thank you for your generous support with proceeds going to Brisbane Water Legacy.
