Played at Wyong on Sunday 5 November the field this year was smaller than in previous years due to clashes with other events and the consistent rain over Saturday and Saturday night saw the field reduced even further when some qualifiers decided not to play.
The course was open and play got under way as scheduled and there was one good shower after play commenced but when this passed those playing did so under grey but dry skies.
At the end of the day the home team, Wyong, proved too strong for their opposition and captured the Cup for 2017. Congratulations to the Wyong club and to their team of Theresa Lonergan, Helen Alexander, Yvonne Sorenson, David McClelland, Mark Osborne and Dong-Boo Kim.
