Andrew Bond, an experienced and seasoned campaigner in inter district competitions, has bounced back after recovering from serious injury some years ago and has been selected in the team to play against Hunter River DGA at Toukley on 26 April for the coveted Artie Mollett Trophy.
The team selected is: Seniors - Andrew Bond (KW), Andrew Brough(MS), James Denniss (Tou), James Swanson (SB), Craig Wickham (Wy) and Dave Willett (Tou). The Junior team is: Brandan Biddle (Ev), Shaun Brownlow (SB), Jordan Garner (SB), Cory Jones (SB), Jack Milne (SB) and Beau Willett (Tou).
Hunter River has won the trophy in tight finishes for the last 2 years and the Coast boys are looking to reverse that this year at Toukley. Two of our Juniors, Cory Jones and Jordan Garner, are in the State team and development squad this year and Hunter River also boasts some State representatives and there is bound to be some great golf played at Toukley.
Play is scheduled to commence at 9.00am and anyone wishing to come along and support our team is more than welcome.
