The Junior State Age Championships are to again be played at Shelly Beach and Toukley Golf Clubs during the week of 3 - 7 July 2017 and will again feature the JNJG Junior Am with prominent juniors from the JNJG tournament circuit teamed with senior players along the lines of the more well known Pro Ams.
This event proved very popular last year when it was played at Wyong Golf Club and Wyong have agreed to again host the event this year when it is played on Monday 3 July.
Not only does this event give older players the opportunity to play with the stars of tomorrow but all of the funds raised via this event are divided equally between the Central Coast, Hunter River and Newcastle DGA's for further development of junior golfers. In 2016 each of the DGAs received $6,000.00 for this purpose.
