Unfortunately, our current unusual weather patterns resulted in the 2012 Champion of Champions and the 2013 Singles Championship being played at Morisset on Sunday 20 January being abandoned before too many shots had been played.
After extremely hot weather on Friday 18 January much needed rain arrived and with play about to commence it became obvious that putting on the 10th hole was impossible due to surface flooding and play was suspended for 30 minutes. Some players on other holes had commenced their rounds and managed to complete 2 or 3 holes before play was abandoned at approx. 2.15pm.
The Committee is now deliberating on how both events can be accommodated this year. As soon as possible, clubs will be notified of alternate arrangements and details will be posted on the web.
