Regretfully, we advise that one of our Life Members, Bob Sharman, passed away recently following a brave fight with illness.
Bob was a well known identity on the Central Coast broadcasting football on 2GO and reporting on other sports as a journalist for the print media.
Bob assumed the role of Secretary of CCDGA in 1989 and held that position until 2005 when he stood down and he and Pattie moved to Dubbo to be near their family. Bob's involvement with the then Central Coast Week of Golf ensured that the event continued for many years. In recognition of his service to golf on the Coast Bob was awarded Life Membership of the Association in 2006.
Bob will be sadly missed by those that had the privilege of knowing him and our thoughts are with Pattie and the family at this sad time.
